If you're looking to get a cheap ticket to get to Hawaii, make sure you have enough money to get back home. At one time, Hawaii was a nice place with available public beaches in Waikiki and other public beaches around the island. Now, they are so many bums living in areas where they shouldn’t be it has ruined the island and image. There are thousands of homeless that have invaded the public lands which makes it difficult to even get on some of the beaches without stumbling onto a homeless camp. The state had an area set-up for the homeless and tried getting them into work programs which to the best of my knowledge failed because a lot of them was just that, bums who loved to bum around and not be a responsible person. I know they are some legitimate people who are trying to make there life better, but more people who have overstayed there welcome and now part of the landscape. So, please, go have a good time and enjoy whatever beaches you get on, but make sure you have that return ticket and not become part of the landscape like a lot of those that have overstayed there welcome.
