  • Actually, I think it is pretty common. I'm not sure why anyone would categorize it as "weird".
  • When I was in school that happened all of the time. So, no, its not weird. As long as you both are on the same wave length.
  • It's not weird. One of my best friends did. Of course, it ended in a disaster and we had to run the senior out of the state, but it's just one of those things, ya know?
  • I am a junior in high school.. when i hear that a senior i know is going out with a freshmen i feel shut down.. why cant they go out with someone there own age. freshmen are so unexperienced in highschool relationships and they end up messing around and screwing things up in the end anyways.. so i believe it is a little strange..thats how i feel about this matter!
  • I'm a Senior now, but back when I was a freshman, I was dating a Senior. It was okay, but I think that the closer in age you are makes it better. I'm dating another Senior now. Yikes! Scratch that last paragraph: my views have changed since then... I'm dating a guy three years older than me, but I think that age only makes a difference in the relationship if you let it...
  • Maybe somewhat weird. . . I mean, a SEnior having much in common with a freshman is unlikely and the maturity levels are probably not the same.
  • When I was a freshman I went to Homecoming with a senior. I loved it at the time, but, looking back, it was kind of weird. Four years is a big difference when you're that age.
  • Not so good- she could be 14, he could be 18- HUGE difference at that age. When I was 14, a 19 yr old guy liked me- creeped me out- me= virgin... him = experienced. Ask what the parents think- can be exciting for the girl at first, but you have to wonder what the guy thinks he's doing...
  • ok lets say they are 15 and 18, seems oddish to some. But in 3 years they are 18 and 21 3 more and they are 21 and 24. The farther it gets the less it matters. So then why would it really matter at 15 and 18? Its not that big of an age gap.
  • I think its ok. When I was in the 8th grade I was going out with a senior. If you guys like eatchother that much than dont bother what other people say!
  • I think it's acceptable. but maybe that's because I'm a freshman and my boyfriend is a senior. we love eachother so it doesnt matter. im almost 15 and he turns 18 tomorrow. so its really not a big deal. thats just over a 3 yr difference. thats not a big gap. besides most married couples r 2-3 yrs apart anyhow.
  • Depends on motives. If you like them then sure. If you want to be the freshman dating the senior jock or the jock dating the young hot freshman then no.
  • acceptable but you may get some criticism if you are the senior.
  • its both...everyone judges everyone. me i have judged it & i don't care. i have said like omgg theyre going out?!!! but really its just my own jealousy but in reality it doesnt matter.
  • i am in tah position im 15 hes 18 2 1/2 year difference and no one has a problem with it now. at the beginning some people did but once they got to know me they didnt have a problem with it.its a perfectly normal thing.. some relationships cant work with a 3 year age difference but ive been with him for 7 months and things couldnt be better..=]
  • I think that it is ok if they are attrached to each other and they have alot in common. Girls, if you are a freshman dating a senior guy, be careful he isn't just trying to "get into your pants".
  • Acceptable.
  • i think im gonna ask out a freshman next year...shes a bombshell, really hot, and i dunno she seems on my level, weather that means im not as mature as others or shes more mature than her peers, but yeah, i dont see it as too weird.
  • Acceptable, actually pretty common... Stupid seniors!
  • My boneheaded friend thinks its not okay in a million years. If the senior is 17 and the freshman is 15 thats only 2 years? Is that really bad? I think theres nothing wrong with it at all if the freshman is mature.
  • Acceptable. Many teenagers that are frehman date seniors. I have also dated people who are in the same age range like that well out of high school.
  • When I was in High School, I dated a freshmam female. She was more mature than me. But because we did the same sport, we shared an interest and mutual friends. I drove one of he girlfriends to school as part of a ride pool thing.
