I was born and live in the same state and it's the bluebird, although I don't think I've ever seen one.

New York is the bluebird.I have two bluebird houses and get pairs every year.....I really think we should be an Ostrich however..

Born and raised in Texas, the mockingbird is our state bird, they are every where and very mean and aggresive. I've seen them attack cats!!!

The bluebird is the state bird of New York and I don't know about where I was born since I wasn't born in the USA, I was born in Belgium.

No states here. The kotuku (white heron) was the bird for the High School I went to, and the kiwi is our national bird (New Zealand). That's the best I can offer lol
