  • because not everyones life revolves around religion
  • For casual relationships religion may not be an issue. But religion is certainly an issue that must be given due consideration where marriage is concerned. However the issue becomes non-existant if one of the partners in marriage were to convert to the other's religion.
  • You are right religion is a major issue especially when you believe it and it is your truth.
  • Maybe getting laid is more important than believing in the same boogeyman.
  • I would dispute the idea that people who really believe their religion use it as their basis for reality. I admit that this is often the case, but not always. Not all religions are geared toward BEING reality. Some are actually paths to UNDERSTANDING reality. Basically, the religions that purport to actually be reality are revealed-text religions of the monotheistic type. In general, this means the Abrahamic religions. Religion is not an important issue to a relationship as long as both parties are willing to respect their partner's religious beliefs (which is different than sharing them).
