Of course. Just understand that death is one of the most natural parts of life. It isn't odd or unusual. It happens to everything that lives. It doesn't even matter to me what may - or may not - come after. Life is a process and death is just the last step that I can see from here.

I'm 70 years old...and, relatively speaking, death may come tomorrow. I am extremely happy after enjoying an extremely magnificent life. I have no fear of death, whatsoever, altough I pray that God gives me at least one day beyond my S/O of 36 years, who has suffered from Alzheimer's disease for the last 10 years, is now totally dependent and for whom I am care giver 24/7. Believe it or not, we are BOTH happy.

Well we dont have a choice so..yeah Hi babe hope your ok...

Since I have no intention of dying until I'm dead, of course I am living happily. Living unhappily is not very smart, is it? If you do, you're halfway dead already. Life is to be embraced, enjoyed, celebrated, shared and appreciated, as well as savored. You cannot do that if you dwell on your demise! :)
-
No problem.
-
No. Dying isn't coming swiftly enough.
-
Who doesn't know they've going to die? EVERYONE dies. Most of us don't dwell on it so much that it affects our happiness. Have I missed something here?
-
Thats life .. !!
-
as my mother used to tell me "You might as well laugh as cry."
-
yep! Here are a few reasons... Jer 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Mat 25:23 His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. Rev 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
-
Of course.....I live for the present day....not the past and not the future....and today is a happy day.

Some believe the first stage of enlightenment begins with acceptance of the inevitable known as "dhirka."

One of the happiest people I know knows she is going to die before reaching the age of 25...
