Hire a lawyer, go to court, get his wages attached. That means his employer will deduct the child support from his wages before he gets his paycheck.

If you live in the US, go to family services, they will help you get it.

If your husband is not giving child support, this means that you should convince him. This is what you do: win him back. Hire a lawyer. Tell him you need money to make a living. Tell him that his child loves him Say that the child needs a father-role figure and the child needs the father's support Tell him, we used to be in love and I want you to support. or the final resort. use blackmail or have an affair with his partner.

Go to court and have him sued for child support. It is your child's right to be supported by both parents ...!! Good luck and don't give up.

First of all I am a woman that is very tired of hearing women talk about taking men to court and only caring about what's in their wallet. If a woman decides to have a child then she should be prepared to take care of that child by herself without anyone's help. It's called responsibility. If a woman can decide to keep her child, have an abortion, or give it up for adoption, then why can't a man decide if he wants to give money to the mother or not. It's not fair! There are so many manipulative money hungry women in this world that get their way just because they have kids. Some men are struggling and don't have the money to pay but yet they are called dead beat dads. I think that if women are all for "women's rights" and think they can do everything a man can do, then why should they stick their hands in a man's pocket? Prove that you can be a woman and take care of your child by yourself. Women like you give all women a bad name!

There are very few reasons why a father does not give child support. Being unemployed, even in todays hard times is not one of the reasons. Not bragging but I never missed a child support payment while my daughter was growing up even when I was unemployed. I used savings and unemployment money to pay the support first then paid the other bills. I missed a few meals and didn't do some of the things I wanted to do to have the funds. It was NEVER a matter of not liking my ex...it was a matter of helping my daughter. I do believe in some cases judges set child support unrealistically high for the exspouce to pay. Judges need to set the support at a level the ex can realistly pay even during times of unemployment. likewise the custodial parent needs to conserve and use the child support wisely. Never use child support for vengence or a club towards the exspouce.

Turn him into child services and have him pay them the child support and then they give it to you. that way they automatically take it from his pay and you can call and see how much they deposit into your bank account each month.
