In the next town, they put one near the area they have built up as a medical complex area, lots of DR's and a small fountain, sitting area, SS office etc and another over in are area where there are several housing complex that come together to a park for kids
-
I have two within a half mile of my place. I like them when traffic is light, but during rush hour, as many people are still unfamiliar with them, the traffic backs up for several blocks; knowing that, I detour around them.

There are a few here near Houston.
-
Yes we have a few. There is a new one in the town to the east of us. And in the large city near us, we've got a major new one. Works real well:-)
-
right now there are 2 within 3 miles of my house with plans for another one just up the street.
-
We have many roundabouts where I live.
-
we have two that we go have tp gp thrpugh to get out of our village, as well, a 3rd one on to get on the highway .........
-
I have not been on one nor have I seen one - you usually see them in Europe not here in the USA
-
I am in the UK, and my home town is full of them.
-
We have lots of them where i live in Australia :)
-
There seems to be an obsession with building them where I live, and they have changed the rules too. When I learned to drive, and still in the highway code, you went into the left lane to turn left or go straight ahead, and into the right lane to turn right, but 90% of the new ones have arrows telling you the oppposite. I'm used to it now, but I and many others had a few hairy moments until we got used to it; it's hard to change inbuilt habits. Scotland.

There is one in my area that I know of... but it is way put in the middle of nowhere...
-
The town where I live is known worldwide for the number of roundabouts it has. There are hundreds.
-
No roundabouts where i live, but my fiancee has one near him and in the middle there is a table and 2 chairs made from hedges :D

We have roundabouts everywhere, we even have them with traffic lights on them! LOL

This is an example of the ultimate roundabout in the UK:-
-
There's one in Houston by the Zoo in the museum district! It's quite fun to drive around!
-
i live the Boston area, and we have plenty of rotaries, and it's a free for all...enter at you own risk, In my case i drive a mack truck...so I rule when I am in at rotary, unless there is another Mack there then we both rule.
-
Yes. In Nashville, we get to endlessly circle this http://www.pbase.com/deadelvis/image/22332218
-
They are all over here In Carson City Nevada! The are a one way circle everyone goes to the right... if you are going to make a left hand turn you go around the circle until you get to the street you are looking for! I love them, I think that as long as soneone knows how to use it it makes high trafic times flow much better! There sould be no stoping!
