Can a urinalyisis test for certain narcotic drugs? I am prescribed percocets but i took a pill with codiene in it and i am worried i may come up hott.

If Percocets are an opiate and i am almost positive that they are,then your body metabolizes them into morphine and it will do the same with codeine. My suggestion is that if you are testing then you should behave yourself and do not take drugs you are not allowed to take. Your always better off doing the right thing. Keeps us out of trouble in the first place. :)

If your script is legit, you should have been given pprwork to fill out that listed your scripts and otc drug that you were taking, if you listed all meds you should be ok, however you may have to produce the script or, note from your Dr. that prescribed them

Well see i am in the military and i got hit with a piss test this morning and i am just trying to see if the test will detect it as specific as codiene or if it will just come up as a genral narcotic. i am prescribed the percocets and they are narcotic so if it just comes up as a narcotic then i am good. sorry i was so unclear
