Here are a few facts. I hope they don't confuse you: 1. The Democrats have a majority in the House. Pelosi couldn't even get them in line for a vote. 2. The Dems and Republicans HAD a deal until Pelosi shot her mouth off and started bashing Republicans right before the vote. 3. McCain took credit for a deal that should have gone through until Pelosi blew it and then SHE calls for bipartisanship. SHE ruined the deal by running her f'ing mouth. The failure of the deal caused the market to plunge costing "average" Americans millions in losses.

McCain couldn't even deliver the Arizona delegation. Not a single Arizona Representative voted for the bill.

You know, I may SOUND like I know what I'm talking about sometimes. The truth is, I'm a very simple thinker. Simplified thinking saves me a lot of headache because FOR me, either something makes sense... ...or it doesn't. Certain things that occur DEFY explanation. I don't care how anyone tries to spin it, COMMON SENSE will inevitably reveal whether something is nonsense or not. Once you master the art of detecting nonsense, The Way becomes perfectly clear and you don't have to waste time trying to derive meaning from whatever it is that defies explanation. The key to this is RECOGNIZING and ACCEPTING a specific rule of thumb: "You can't make SENSE out of NONsense."

If McCain can't influence his own party during a time of "crisis", how does he think he can influence them once he is in office. McCain is currently not seen as a leader (by his influence in this $700 billion bailout) in his own party, how can he lead the nation?
