it's interesting but I don't see an option to erase the profile, I guess you just log out and never come back.
-
If you mean stopping the e-mails. There's a setting in your profile "Notification options." There, you can set it so the e-mails will stop and you can leave us behind as an unpleasant memory, but don't give up on us yet, it's alot better here than you'd think at first glance.

You want to leave us? Why are you leaving.... :o(

I don't think you can unsubscribe. You could contact the staff and ask. I believe content contributed becomes property of answerbag and part of the database. You could change your name to anonymous and leave. Sorry you want to unsubscribe, you just got here!

Go into your settings and disable email notifications. 1) Log in. 2) View Profile. 3) Select Settings > Preferences That will disable your emails. You can also: # Change your username to anonymous. # Change your registered email to something false. # Delete your avatar. # Delete your personal details. # Remove the about me section of your profile. The last screenshot (#4) shows how to change your avatar. .

From the site itself? You can just leave and your account will remain dormant, or you could ask the staff to delete your account.
-
Just log out and don't come back.
-
Run away. Run away and never return.
-
Write another comment on that answer that you unsubscribe.
-
It's really simple. Sign off, and do not sign back on again.

You can ask the staff to PB you for life. (It's been done before.) It's reversible, but you would have to ask the staff to reinstate you, which makes it one more step, giving you time to think about your decision. The questions and answers you've given should be available for all time. They have become the repository database of AB... for better or for worse. Before you're PBed, go to your profile, and change it - Nickname = Anonymous or Gone for Good, or something like that. Change your avatar to either the default bag or anything else you'd like, clear your name and other info, use a bogus email address (you may need this to reactivate your account if you want, later), go to preferences, and make sure you won't receive any emails (though the changing of the email address should handle that - or you could block anything from answerbag.com), and THEN ask for the lifetime PB.
