What are you opinions on Sephiroth's notoriety? Is he totally awesome, or is he overrated? Explain your choice?

• I pretty much consider him the apex of awesome just as much, plus he would probably be hot in real life lol.
  Some argue that he's not all he's cracked up to be, and be that as it may, he played out his rule quite well, I liked the concept.

• I consider him the zenith of coolness as well. Maybe you should find his cosplay alter ego. :) Think of his name, Sephiroth, the One Winged Angel. Seraphs are angels, and a seraph who is wroth might be deemed Sephiroth. Also, a one winged angel could not stay aloft long, hence his fallen nature. :)

• There certainly was some symbolism in his presentation, reflecting biological fuckery, at that. He was pretty much Jenova's puppet though. But still, him and Kefka are my two favourite FF bad guys.

• Zeromus is also very iconic-I mean he's the physical manifestation of mankind's hatred-though I'm disappointed how little of a personality his physical being, Zemus, has. :/
  With Kefka, I totally love that he went straight up psycho because of the Empire's magic infusion experiments, a lot like Sephy in FFVII. He had no real motive, and despite this, still managed to be a very fashionable and developed character, and one who DID destroy the world. That's a surprise. :) Plus his end form is what gave way to all the angel type bosses we are now plagued with. XD

• Dang, girl. LOL. I played Grandia 2, and no joke, the end boss was the pope, who turned out to be the anti christ, and his final form was a moth angel with a human face. :)

• Grandia 2 is at least a 50 hour game, for the story is insane, and even now, with its dated graphics, being it is a first generation ps2 game, it is still well worth the playthrough, if you are interested. I have seen clips of it in a few Gametap commericials. Oh yeah, I can't believe I forgot the Sephiroth of Grandia 2, Melfice. The hero of Grandia 2, Ryudo is a tough tail mercenary, but his brother (yeah) is half demon. And yes, I am totally trying to sell you on both Dirge and Grandia 2. Grandia 3 is also a stellar game. :)

• Yeah, grandia 3 and to a lesser extent, Grandia Extreme were good, (Xtreme has no plot really but combat is fun.) but yes, I'm always hearing that Grandia 2 is the highlight of the series, and the only one I don't have. It's hard to find. :/

• I saw Grandia 3 in one of my local game stores and thought about getting it but didn't because I wasn't sure if I'd like it. I love all of the FF games, particularly 8 through 11. I haven't played 12 yet. Do you think Grandia 3 on PS2 is worth getting?

• Yeah, Grandia 3 is a great game. The graphics and cinemas are top knotch, not to mention the stellar plot and battles, for easy they are not, but not insurmountably difficult. Did I mention there is a materia esque notion with mana eggs and that there is not only romance but a slight homage to final fantasy 7? :)

• I will certainly be looking out for it again. I have played all of the FF and Kingdom heart games that I can on the PS2 platform and have been looking for good similar games. I recently came across God of war 1 and 2 and love those as well, though they are not RPG games I find them addicting as too. If you know of any other great games please share! I know they are out there but I dont like to pay money for games unless I am sure I am going to enjoy them. I have all of the shitty games I need trust me!

• Instead of Cloud and Aeris, it is Yuki and Alfina, and "Cloud" is a pilot, btw. I have as well, and as for 12, it is really good, though the battle system has a learning curve. The replay value is solid, and it is LONG. God of War is not really my cup of tea, though I know it is good for those who like that kind of stuff. There aren't many games I don't know. I never played Radiata stories, but I know it is good, and if you can find it, the replay value is solid, for there are at least two different plots depending on how you take it. I hear ya. :)

• Grandia 2 is hard to find, but it is really good, even though it is a 1st generation playstation 2 game. Final fantasy 7:Dirge of Cerberus is a shooter, and while it is a bit difficult to get into, it is invaluable if you want to get the whole ff7 experience. Also, I plan to get a psp just to get Birth by sleep, the kingdom hearts sequel that predates kh one by ten years. Go on wikipedia for more info on BBS, for that is how I found out. Also, try Shadow of the Collosus, for while it is not an rpg per se, it has rpg elements, such as hp and grip meters. :)

• Lastly, in the future, if you plan or even are thinking about getting a ps3 or a 360, go with Heavenly sword, for I hear it is like God of War in a lot of respects. Xbox 360 will have Fable 2, and the original was good enough to buy the system just to play it, though I never had the cash. Fable is like a console version of world of warcraft, without the gender and complete customization of the character before you get to control him/her. In 2, you start out as a boy with a dog, and grow up to have kids, if you want, be a mage, warrior, scars and all. :)

• Thanks a bunch! I just got Dirge of Cerberus and like you said its been a bit hard to get in to. I hope to get a PS3 as soon as the round the cash up :P I am really looking forward to getting FF 12! Hopefully that time will come this week.

• Dirge is AWESOME. I recently beat it again, and you need to know two things, and while these could be said to be little spoilers, I want you to know in your first playthrough. Stick with the normal barrel cerberus and eventually you will get a long barrel, setting up your sniper rifle shot, and even the hydra form at some point. Well, I advise you, upon each mission completed, go with gil first, and upgrade your cerberus, normal barrel (slot 1 for me), and then take xp the next mission and switch back and forth, upgrading pistol and rifle, and even ignoring gryphon.

• That is the first thing, and the second thing is keep your sights, er, wits about you at ALL times in your playthrough. There are shiny objects all over the levels, and you have to keep your eyes peeled to see them for you have to shoot them, since they are always out of the way and hiding in odd places. Those shiny things are cinemas, so look for them, shoot them and enjoy them in the extras section in the main menu. Also, I advise taking the tutorial with turk vincent.(grins) 12 is awesome. It is quite the game, innovations by the bucket full. :)
