What do you think was the worst aspect of living during the Great Depression?

    The people I personally knew had two answers. The women hated to see their kids starve and had to ask the older ones to live on their own since they couldn't feed them. The men hated the fact that they were unable to support their family financially and lost what few possessions they had worked hard for.
