Nothing that is exposed to air will keep forever because they all give off gasses that when mixed with the atmosphere, begin to rot the food in order for it to change to something able to fertilize new crop. Thats just the way it goes. "Nothing lasts forever but the earth and sky." Kansas

I have heard that Twinkies have a long shelf life but to last forever I would think that it would have to be something that has been dried and sealed very well, even then I'm not sure about forever.

Honey will crystallize, but if it is kept stored properly it can last forever.

YooHoo Choclate Drink has no expiration to their shelf life! I find that gross and I would never drink one. "Sources in the beverage industry claim that Yoo-hoo owes its famously open-ended shelf life to a steam sterilization process that takes place after the bottles or cans are filled and capped. As long as it is sealed, Yoo-hoo cannot go sour." Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yoo-hoo
