He is not a socialist. Is this a case of name-calling to advance the Republican cause?

Bill Clinton, JFK, Roosevelt & Truman, truly "great" presidents were more socialist in their views and leadership of our country...which, of course, is why our country was so overwhelmingly prosperous & powerful under their guidance. Especially Clinton. No other president in the 230+ year history of our country has taken on such a huge deficit and in just 7 short years turned it into a solvent surplus...EVER! It took Bushie & Cheney almost a full 8 months to put a daggar into our economy and attempt to destroy Social Security. A little over 2 years to get us into a war, 3 years to set new records for deficit spending, and managed to piss off every country on this planet against us to "avenge" his daddy! Although it does appear that Bushie & Cheney are gonna give Obama a shot at topping Clinton though...! The pattern is very clear and repeated every 8 years or so...our country under republican control loses massive numbers of jobs, gets us into a war, gives huge tax breaks/cuts to the wealthiest individuals and corporations, huge monopolizing corporations(i.e. health care industry, Big Oil(I know you hate that phrase), the pharmaceutical industry, and last, the insurance industry, all run by republican hands, get to rape us at will... then the people get fed up with republicans, once again running our country into the ground, and try desperately to keep them(republicans) from stealing another election, and devastating our country & economy further, by actually voting! Do your homework Payton, and anyone else reading this...the trend and patterns are written all over the last 80 years starting with the first "Great Depression" which was of course (You guessed it) under Republican control...imagine that!

What do you mean by Socialist? The old concept or the modern one. Germany and France have socialist governments and they are not "communists" which I seem to understand is what you mean. 65% of the world's governments are socialists but not communist. You must pay attention so you will fully understand what each video is explaining. For your information Academic Noam Chomsky is a Socialist but not a Communist. I am a Socialist but too far away from any Communist ideology. Milton Friedman is a Libertarian and so am I, Libertarianism is based on Socialism. I don't know. If John Sidney McCain III(pronounced tra-tor ma vah' ric) is elected President, will he be the first true communist sympathizer in the White House? Or was there a communist sympathizer before him that was Prez? -

It seems to me sometimes that in America anybody who is slightly to the left of Genghis Khan is a socialist. :)
