  • Some Canadians speak English, some speak French, and others speak all sorts of other languages. "Canadian" is not a recognized language. However, some would say that any of the above mentioned languages might be filtered throught a Canadian ACCENT.
  • There is no such language as Canadian. There is English (Canadian dialect), just as there is English (American dialect) and English (Australian dialect) and so on. Not all Canadians speak English as a first language, anyway. According to Canadian law, the country's offical languages are English, French and its recognised regional languages are Inuktitut, Inuinnaqtun, Cree, Dëne Sųłiné, Gwich’in, Inuvialuktun, Slavey, TłįchÇ« Yatiì .
