I've had bison. It's in stores here as Bison Burgers. I had elk, but that was in Sweden. I purchased it at a Saluhallen in Uppsala, Sweden.

Nope. We don't grow Bison & Elk in Holland and don't import it either (as far as I know). I have seen Ostrich steaks on sale.

I have eaten bison-- both steaks and burgers. I bought it frozen at the local supermarket in New Jersey USA. I first had it on Catalina Island in California where they used to have a herd of bison. It is very good and very low-fat.
