use screens on your windows and a screen door. the wind blows them in. or the run in or crawl in. plus RAID spider and bug spray periodically.

A part from the solid advise given by Spinner I would add vacuum day in and day out specially when windy. Avoid humid walls or areas if you have them fix them ASAP. That should do it.

Start eating them? They will surely figure out eventually.

Vacuum the house and suck up all of them that you find - and that includes the little tiny baby ones that look so small and harmless. Leave them on the wall and they will grow into big monsters. If you have ivy growing over the walls/roof on the outside of your house, get rid of it - it's full of the damn things.
