Before you get any other answers to this Q I just want to say: If you think health care is expensive now, just wait to see how expensive it is when it's "free". Also, everyone bitches about the high cost of living into old age, but it still beats the alternative.

medicare cost $98 a month so even if they are covered under medicare they have to pay that out of their check and then they still have to cover about 30% of everything that medicare doesn't cover. So, even if they never see a doctor, it's $98.00 a month ($1200 a year). Plus medicare doesn't cover vision, dental, etc. I don't think anyone can really tell you for sure an actual cost
