battlestar galactica seasons is show about The second war against the Cylons is over and The Twelve Colonies have been destroyed. Maybe because it's so well written, has such well-developed characters, effective special effects, great editing, cinematography, lighting and sound...?

The show is terrible. He probably got dragged into watching the show by some friends and is falling prey to power of conformity and peer pressure. That, and the show uses curiousity (via a mystery) to entice people to keep watching.
