I'm about to turn 14 and I'm really excited; I'm curious to know what major change happened to you when you were 14. Does it still affect you now?

I turned 14 in August and nothing major has happened. It's just a different number.

Umm I went to high school. Physically I didn't change much but I grew 6 inches in less then a year when I was 15.

I started my period when I was 14. After that, you can get pregnant, so this could really change your life. But I recommend that whether you start when you are 12, 14 or whenever, that you wait for sex and then use birth control until you are really ready to have a child. I had periods for the next 30 years, but now I am in menopause and don't have them anymore. Boys start to notice girls when they are about this age, so you may have a boyfriend soon if you don't already have one. Enjoy this time and don't rush it - you'll be grown up before you know it. I was 14 when I had my 1st boyfriend. It was an innocent enough relationship though it took me years to get over him after we broke up. Stink! (No, doesn't affect me now.) :)
