Ah yes. I have this same problem. I'm forced into getting haircuts and then I'm always disapointed with my lack of shagginess. Unfortunatly, the only thing that will do it is time.

I got a perm once and the stylist wrap the rods to tight and some of my hair broke off at the root. I was told to wash my hair in a white vinegar water solution to help it grow back in faster and it actually worked.

If I want my hair to grow, I don't do any cutting or trimming till it reaches the desired length.

Who held you down and sheared your head little lamb? You can't rush hair grow and you can't slow hair growth. It is what it is. Enjoy your new clean cut look. You have handsome features, why do you wish to obscure them with a mop-top?

Unfortunately, there is nothing to make you hair grow any faster than what human genetics allow. If anyone tells you different, they are mistaken or fooling you. If you believe them, I would like you to give me your social security number so I can check it against my records... you may have just been awarded a TON of money from a Nigerian lottery! LOL Just kidding. But seriously, nothing will make your hair grow faster. Just don't get it cut for a while, you'll be right as rain before you know it!

Hair is an appendage of the skin, it's a byproduct. There are to ways to get your hair back to it's 'shaggy mess' state. Eat more or stimulate the blood flow to your scalp by massaging it. There are oils to aid this but a basic household one that can be washed out will work just fine. By increasing the blood flow to the bulb of the hair you feed it nutrients which in turn 'speeds' up hair growth.
