beef bulgogi is what I normally get. However, when I was in Korea I had an authentic Korean meal which included smoked duck and that was the BEST Korean food I 've ever had.

I love Korean food! I can not narrow down to one. I like eun dae gu jo lim (marinated fish with radish, it has a sweet and spicyness to the sauce), kimchi daegi kalbi (Marinated pork ribs with kimchi), mae eun tang (Spicy fish soup), yook keh jang (spicy stripp beef soup with vegetables, egg, and clear noodles), dak do li tang (spicy marinated chicken with potatoes), [assorted korean bbq such as beef brisket, pork belly, jumuloc (marinated beef taste like galbi without the bones (a different cut of beef)and many more with lettuce wraps, rice cake wraps, slices of garlic, 4 different sauces, rice, side dishes and all the works MAN!!!]and etc...........

Now I must search to see if there is a Korean restaurant in my state. I'm sure there must be one in New Haven. Sadly, I have never dined on Korean food. I have tried Thai, Japanese, Chinese and Vietnamese. What should I order?

i love kimchee. the spicy version. omg. the food of the gods. goes well with almost every dish, korean or other ethnic foods.

I love all Korean food...but Yukgaejang is one of my favorites. Kimchi is a must too.

Kimchi is always good. The first and only korean dish I have ever had that I remember.
