Why are so many "idol" singers (such as S.H.E) in the Chinese pop/rock music industry who get credited for songs they put no emotion in & songs they didn't contribute in writing/composing?

America does this as well =/ Like Britney Spears, i dont know if she writes it now, but for a LONG time the music was written for her. All these 'Pop Idols' do is sing good and give us a nice face to look at.
