  • Giving birth, and I will treasure it forever.
  • Childhood, spending time (weekends usually) at my maternal grandmothers house. She used to always make my favorite meals, and always have chocolate covered graham crackers, hot chocolate, pop/soda, and other things my parents didn't let me have much, on hand. And she spoiled me rotten and let me stay up late and watch TV. She also rubbed my back before bed, told me stories, and played board games with me. She was a wonderful and caring person. She also took me whenever I was sick, so I would not give it to anyone else in the family.
  • Being born. If only I could remember it. :/
  • Spending time with my best friend that turned his back on me a couple of months ago..we used to be best friends and then he turned into a little backstabber.

  • I grew up in a religious and traditional household where I was supposed to bond and spend time with my mother, and my father spent more time with my brothers. My father was a charismatic minister beloved by his congregation and ran around on house calls, eating soul food and loving and being loved by his people. My mother was a housewife. You count-up the tally on that one. On weekends my father might take my brothers to Tom Thumb, the local hobby shop to do slot car racing and me and my mother might be...house cleaning or...needlepointing. (Alas.) When I was about 9 years old, my father took me to spend a very mundane day with him. He went to business appointments, saw his dentist, nothing spectacular. He died a year later. To me, that was one of the best days of my life as ordinary as it was.

  • i remember going out in the afternoons during december with my sister and my dad to the park a few blocks away from our house to go sledding. i remember the thrill of the actual sledding, but better yet was the trip home. my sister and i would be so tired from running up the hill that my dad would pull us in the sled all the way home. our nose were red and our teeth were chattering and our snow pants were uncomfortable and the promise of hot chocolate with marshmellows kept us going. :).
  • My first kiss with my girlfriend, who is still with me today. It was so weird too, it was like I planned it to happen, but my first kiss with her just happened. I remember that day. We were skiing and we were going up the lift and it like stops mid way up to the top of the hill. We're up there for 5 or 10 minutes, stuck. Then we have casual talk, and a bunch of stupid stuff that people who like each other talk about. Then I told her I loved her. Then we made out on the ski lift for 17 hours. lol no. We kissed and she was just shocked and speechless.
