use a degreaser all over the battery so it will reduce acis build up, then spray the red stuff on it not sure what its called but it prevents a weak connection

If its a genuine Maglite hot water will do the trick, the same thing for corroded battery terminals, its simple and it works, make sure everythibg is dry before putting new batteries in. All my answers are being knocked down by some fool, don't bother to rate this as its a waste of time. The best of luck with your Maglite anyhow.

Baking soda and hot water soaks work also. I used to clean the corrossion off my car batteries that way years ago. Lte it sit and bubble and sizzle for abit, then rinse til clean.

Forgot the maglight in the vehicle for extended amount of time and can only get one battery out the other two are stuck tight. Any suggestions on how to get them out?? Thanks in advance..

if the batteries in the maglite are stuck, chances are its because the batteries have leaked. the problem is, if this is the case then the batteries have expanded and you wont be able to get the batteries out despite using any methods such as baking soda and water. the maglite is pretty much toast and will need to replaced. always use quality batteries such as duracell. they cost more money for a reason.
