This happened to me on christmas 2006. It is because you tried an upgrade. Call 08705998877. it is 10p per minute. They were excelent and are giving me a re-condishioned psp on the 28th December 2006. I have to give my broken, the battery and charger to them. They will then fix that and use it as a re-condishioned psp. You keep the memory stick so you don't loose everything you have played on. 5/5 service. They were excelent!!!

SONY has a Help/ Tech Support line both online and I am sure one that came with your unit. CALL THEM! That's what they are there for. :)

Calm down. If they can help, they will. It's hard for us to help because none of us are Sony PSP experts. They are. So call them.

I found out the answer to this problem this happened because someway, somehow, you applied pressure to your psp and when you do that it wont turn back on. what you have to do is send it back to sony and they will ship you a new one. this happened to me so trust me I no what im talking about.
