5 gallon isn't very big at all. Does it freeze solid in your area? If it does, you should keep your bushes somewhere the dirt won't freeze solid, as soon as they go dormant this fall. Be sure to keep them mulched heavily to keep them from suffering any damage like freezing and drying out since they don't have much dirt around them. Why don't you have them in the ground, if I may ask?

I live in Virginia and winter my blueberry bushes outside, planted in the ground. I hope you know that you must have more than 1 variety of blueberry in order to produce berries. They need to cross pollinate. Good luck.
