Yes, Cause most of us on AB are serious and in need of an answer or want to have fun. But there always seems to be someone to spoil that. Oh well, I just ignore them as much as I can.

Well, it's certainly annoying when someone answers it just to be an ass, and it has happened. There's a difference between that and humour, but on the other hand people perceive things differently, so I usually don't say anything. Besides it's not like I've never done it, or laughed when someone did it to someone else, so I don't see why it shouldn't happen to me, I guess. Lol.

Define "Being an ass". If you ask a question that deserves a funny answer, expect to get one. In fact, as you are addressing every person on AB, you will get all kinds of answers. I don't agree with every answer I get, but if they take the time to read your question and respond, consider it a compliment.

Some also ask for seemingly that very reason. Symbeline plays roofchess is right, though. Through typed words and not expression, inflexion, of visual aid, it's hard to tell the difference sometimes.

I find this question irritating... ...so that would make my answer irritating as well...so yes. its irritating lol..sry ;-)
