  • wheel alignment
  • Lefty nailed it - your alignment's off. Take it to your local garage; it'll cost around $50 to $100.
  • Don't leave out tire balance, slipped belts or bubbles. Are your lug nuts tight? These things you can test before paying for an alignment you might not need. Have someone fallow you and report what your wheels are doing (after you check the lugs). Badly unbalanced tires can hop clean off the road. A slipped belt will only effect one side of the car. Alignment can be seen on the tire wear, usually scallops. I always get an alignment when I buy new tires. Is it time yet? If it is close it might be better to just get new ones. The old ones might have a resale value of $10 to $15 each if there is tread left. I put mine on craigslist.org and they sold in 3 days. Who ever buys them will balance them. Any slips or bubbling will show as A twisted tire and you will know before selling so there is no deceit involved.
  • My first thought was your vehicle needs a front end alignment. But my husband says if it just suddenly started it could be a bad tire.
