It's hard to have anniversaries like that. There's nothing specific that you can do to make it "easier" - it takes such an emotional toll. But you can bring him comfort and support by being there for him in whatever way you can - go do something together, spend quality time, embrace the positive and grieve together. This will surely make a huge difference in his week, and hopefully in yours. Just remember that your friends are here to bring you strength and get you through this difficult time as well. You're a very loving daughter, Little Miss. This is going to be a very tough time on all of you. I think the only thing you can do is just to be there and share whatever your Dad needs to share. I wish I had a magic list of things that would make it easier but I don't. Good luck! :) ((hugs))

I think the best thing to do is to spend as much time together as you can and keep him out of the house if possible. I think this would help him have a happy anniversary.

I would say spending time with your dad remininscing with stories of your mom will make things very nice.
