I'd like to think it is but if so, it is quite slowly.

I think that since it is more reconized now, and actions to educate parents with children with Asperger's are being taken it is going to be something that is easier to control. I am working with my son's school to help him learn how he can control his Asperger's to the best of his ability, and lead a more enriched adult life. He has a special education teacher, as well as therapist that are helping him. He has shown such a great improvement in all subjects and his life at home since he has been recieving help from the school...and us at home too!

No. If anything it's getting worse. We are mocked and stereotyped in the media. We are accused of being "stuck up" and superior-acting. We are actively discriminated against. We are treated as if we are attention-seeking primadonnas who should just "act normal". If the specific gene for Aspergers Curse could be identified, we could be prevented from being born, thus doing both the world and us a great service. +5
