Do you think that using gift bags shows that you care less than if you were to wrap a gift?

Oh no, I can not wrap at all, so I am doing them a favor, not to mention, it costs more to buy the gift bag, and the stuffing to go with it, and I will buy ribbon, to hold the handles together, so they can not see what is inside. I love the bags I have gotten, I save them.

No, gift bags are just fine. But I do want my Boyfriend to wrap the gift, or get it wrapped nicely by someone, it shows that he put more effort into it and that he cares more.

No. And here's why: -It's like a recyclable gift! You can't re-use wrapping paper... (or you could if you were meticulous about it... or maybe just careless) You always have a use for a spare gift bag! -It looks very nice if you coordinate the tissue paper with the bag and ribbons and all. -You can put more than one present in the bag without it seeming odd. No one really puts more than one gift in a wrapped box, it seems like you should wrap them individually, but bags can always have more than one. - Oh, and...Quicker present access, pshht, yeahh, that's what I'm talking 'bout. No messy un-wrapping. Pull and some tissue paper, and you're good to go.

yes. but sometimes there is awesome sales. and you just have to buy all those cute bags and give everyone a little joy. but then again i think tooo many people recycle bags. sooo really no one buys bags they just recycle them...sooo there is just this GIANT cycle of bags going round and round and sometimes foryour bday you get christmas bags and the other way around...and life sucks when that happens cause you know they hate you.

Well no, especially considering that many times presents inside a gift bag may be wrapped anyway - especially large gift bags. Plus, more delicate gifts are better in a gift bag as the item is upright, whereas just wrapped then the person could shake it or something.

No, that is what I use. They are recieving the gift, if my using a gift bag hurts their feelings they can give it back.

No not at all. Cool thing about gift bags is that you can reuse them. You can also cut the bag and use it in scrapbooks or even background for picture mounting.

Not at all, in fact it does show that you care - about the environment. They can be re-used dozens of times. You can also put just as much thought into choosing a perfect bag as you would into choosing the perfect paper.

Not at all! But do dress up the bag a little-like using tissue paper to line the inside and maybe stick a bow or card to the outside of a bag. Nobody will think you are a bad person if you don't, but it does show that you went the distance to show that person you think enough of them to make the bag look attractive.
