I have to do a report for my Consumerism class on how much a customers experience plays into their buying decisions. I'm choosing fast food. Which fast food restaurant has the best "Experience" during breakfast, lunch and dinner? How could it be better?

I really don't find much difference between the major chain fast food restaurants. As long as they get my order right, I'm happy with it. I don't expect much, so it's hard to have a bad experience.

In terms of improving the experience, they could hire people who aren't complete idiots. Way too often are Subway's mangled in the cutting process, Big Macs are squished with the sauce leaking out the side, fries are cold because the ones made 5 hours ago hadn't run out yet. I've seen staff eating McNuggets and licking their fingers, teenage staff chatting amongst themselves while customers wait, Burritos split lengthwise, making them impossible to eat, Wendy's burgers with a liter of mayo on them. Simply put, if competent managers were hired who possessed a small amount of experience in customer service and food and health standards, I might actually eat at them, despite the grease.

I don't know too much other than dunkin donuts as a fast food breakfast. I have no complaints there. My personal favorite for lunch or dinner would have to be Taco Bell. You know what you're getting every time and I'm a HUGE fan. I don't really know what they could do differently- I'm pretty easy to please. I mean, it's fast food, right? Can't expect too much.

I can't name a specific fast food restaurant but can tell you what I would see as an ideal fast food place.
Staff would be well-trained and friendly and paid enough and treated well enough so that there isn't a huge amount of staff turn-over.

The food would be well prepared and tasty and good value for money. There would be a soundproofed room where parents could take children when they get upset.

Decor would be cheerful and bright but not garish.
There would be a fun playground and pleasant facilities for parents to feed and change babies so they don't have to go into the toilets.
