  • A military conflict with Pakistan, now that Musharaaf is gone, is inevitable. Top Al Qaeda leadership is in the northwestern province of Pakistan, and the Islamic extremists there have made it clear that they will uprise and overthrow the government there if they are extracted, which is not good due to the fact that Pakistan has nuclear weapons. This has been the standoff since the War on Terror began, and the reason that Iraq was selected to establish a presence in the Middle East in the first place. The fact of the matter is that we have been supplying military aid to that country so they can target terrorist extremists, and they are instead preparing for war with India. If Pakistan does not cooperate with what is our main military objective, to capture and eliminate radical jihadists that are targeting Americans, then Pakistan has to give us a really good reason why we should keep our military personnel there. If they cannot, then we are going to act upon actionable intelligence that indicates to us that terrorists are attacking Americans along the Afghan border and then running back to Pakistan, and eliminate the enemy wherever he may be. Pakistan doesn't like this, and so conflict is inevitable.
