What is your opinion of the route 66 trip? was it worth it?

Absotively yes. Great memories and photos along the way and many are now gone...

Back in the days when it was there, it was worth it. Now, it's mostly a fond memory, as only small portions of the original road still exist.

It was neat many yrs ago, I came out to CA when I was 2 from OK on route 66 and my family made the trip back to visit family every summer for many yrs, even after I got married I still made the trip, last one was 3 yrs ago who last grandparent died. Not much of 66 left only if you go down into some of the smaller towns and go on the frontage Rd's will you see signs that say Historical route 66. If you have lots of time, I suppose it could be worth it as there are many old building, signs and pieces of history still to see yet.
