My issue with the Xbox and Xbox 360 has been the number of times games have frozen up. It's less of an issue for the Xbox than it was the 360 but happens with both. In fairness, it does happen with PS 2 games but much, much less frequently. The hardware problem I experienced with my PS 2 was the laser lens needing to be cleaned. I was able to fix that on my own with instructions I found on the internet. So my take on the matter is that the PS 2 comes out looking best. Way too many problems on the Xbox and 360 to recommend.
