  • You will find articles on the internet that take this topic to a very deep level. My advice is stick with the brand names. Stay away from no-name bulk disc packs. They may be cheap, but you really do get what you pay for. What many people don't know however, is that quality burns are more than just good quality blank discs. The quality of the writer drive (burner) matters too.

  • I did some searching and DVD+R seem to be better for data and DVD Video Burning, and also last longer in years so they are better for your photo and Camcorder back up etc. Here is a Web Page to look at.
