Yes, when I get a muscle spasm in my neck or back, Flexeril is a miracle. I have some on hand always. It's amazing.

It's a tricyclic muscle relaxer. It won't work if you have nerve or disc problems.

I got some 2 weeks ago for a muscle spasm. I only take it with dinner because they cause drowsiness. You should probably try rotation exercises and stretching. Double-check with a specialist first, though.

It makes my sock all limp :)

Muscle relaxer this is not very strong. I felt no effects after back surgery, so my doctor prescribed Soma. That did the trick.

Flexeril is a mild muscle relaxer. However if prescribed to take a strong dose as I was for a back injury, be careful... I would take it before bed so I could calm the back pain and actually sleep, but it made me so drowsy in the mornings that it was hard to get out of bed and go to work. But, like I said, that was with a very high dosage.

THE FIRST FEW DAYS I TOOK IT NOTHING HAPPENED. AS IF FLEXORIL WAS SUPPOSED TO BE MUSCLE RELAXER BUT DIDN'T GET THE MEMO.. THE THIRD DAY I WAS ZOMBIED OUT... NOTHING HURT CAUSE I COULDN'T FEEL ANYTHING... THIS WAS PRESCRIBED ALONG WITH FIORICET... I WONDER IF IT HAS TO BUILD UP IN YOUR SYSTEM??? CAUSE AT THE MOMENT... I'M FLOATING. AND SLEEPY. GOOD TIMES... BETTER THAN THE HORRIBLE SPASMS THAT WRACKED MY BACK FOR DAYS ON END.

I had to take it because I tore a muscle in my back. It made me loopy and knocked me the hell out. When it comes to medication though, I have no tolerance what so ever.
