  • Great music and awful music. Because great music is greater than mediocre music which is greater than awful music.
  • Great music, and awful music, because the difference is so extreme. At least with mediocre music, it would not make us cringe.
  • I personally think that there would be much more of a relationship between great music and awful music than great and mediocre. Music appreciation is highly subjective, so great and awful are arbitrary when looked at generally. But for something to give the listener a reaction in either of these extremes is closer than if it were not to leave much of an impression on them.
  • There is a huge difference between great music and mediocre music, but a small difference between mediocre music and awful music. I am assuming that the scale goes from great to mediocre to awful with no way to skip over mediocre from great to awful. I guess technically, the gap between great and mediocre is smaller, but in the scale of things, the difference is so small, it doesn't matter. Great music is great music, and everything else is not.
  • Great and aweful, they're very distinct.
  • When you look at great and awful and great and mediocre, great and awful would be a bigger diffrence, but in music right now all music either all sounds the same or is great and completley different so i think there's a bigger difference between great and mediocre music right now
