Start reading about pregnancy and labor, so you can prepare yourself Make sure to get prenatal care, see a doctor. Eat healthy. Relax and try to enjoy.

The more you understand about pregnancy, childbirth and babies, the more confident you'll probably feel. Read everything you can, take care of yourself, see your doctor regularly, and join some web sites for expectant moms. You'll do fine!

The 2 most important things is to take pre natal vitamins & to go to your OB/GYN for all your appts. Also, DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT listen to how painful childbirth is. I have 1 daughter & people had me petrified. I was in labor for 7 hours but didn't realize it for the first 3. REMEMBER, if childbirth was so bad, everyone would be an only child

hi, i know exactly how you feel because im in the same situation. you hear so many stories that you dont know what to believe. make sure you make an appointment with your doctor and then they will send you to hospital for your booking appointment with a midwife. ive been reading up on the internet and found a good site where you can chat to other people about any worries etc and theres lots of info. give it a try. askbaby.com

Well baby raising is a business, you want to give all you can and get great results. Give things like food, clothing, basic computer, bed, etc. Then comes the age when they ask for money literally everyday. U will need to make sure you can provide all of these things or close enough. And realize that this doesn't include things like education, prom, senior trips, etc.

try the web site wwwthebabycenter.co.uk very helpful and they are very helpful, with info on everything, they even do a calendar of dates according to the time of conception/birth they also have other pregnant ladies who keep a daily blog to help each other out

Congratulations! :) First things first, see your doctor! Make sure you're taking folic acid and avoid vitamin A supplements. Look after yourself. Have you spoken to the father? It'd be a good idea to speak with him if you can. Good luck. It'll be great!!! :)

O, do I know that feeling! lol.. I figured out I was pregnant last year and I was freaked out! I even considered abortion which I never thought I would do. I even picked up the phone but when the secretary answered I hung up and started crying. Now I have a four month old little boy his name is Kayden and he is my world! i wake up every morning with him smiling and looking into my eyes. Everything will work itself out. Just make sure you go to all of your doctor appointments and read every book you get your hands on. lol.. But I promise once you see that beautiful baby nothin else matters and you will experience a love like youve never known. Goodluck!

That sounds about right for a first time mother - happy, scared, worried - will I get it right? Will I be an awful mother? Am I ready for this? Fact is, your body knows what to do, so long as you go to all your medical appointments, eat healthily, stay fit (no smoking, drinking or drugs) your body pretty much does the rest of the physical stuff. To mentally prepare, read everything you can - the more you understand about what to expect the less scary it is when it happens. Take your pick of the advice - don't think that because a friend has had children that they know everything - decide what advice you want to listen to and ditch the rest. Above all, know that you are never alone - there are always people who will be ready to help with worries and encourage you along the way. Congratulations; you are entering a fantastic phase in your life ;0)
