I can't say it's my favorite but I did like Arrested Developement and that didn't last long.
-
The Jeffersons. They were just cut all of a sudden, no final episode or anything.
-
Farscape. There was absolutely NO REASON ON EARTH OR THE COLLECTED GALAXIES to cancel this show!
-
1) Firefly. Cancelling that was a crime. An not even a complete season out the door. This was a fantastic, clever, exciting, innovative show from Joss Whedon, the guy who brought us Buffy and Angel. 2) Sports Night. Cancelled in the seconds season. Amazing show. It combined comedy with drama and in depth character development. Must have been too much for the American public to handle. I think we should hunt down the Neilson families and torch their houses!
-
"Friends" I thought that was a great T.V. show.
-
The Honeymooners ...
-
"Boomtown" was good and never given a chance by NBC. It centered on a crime, showing it happening from everyone's prespective, including the victim and the police. Then you'd get to see how it really happened. "Crime and Punishment" is another good one that didn't last for some reason. It was created by Dick Wolf, the same guy responsible for all the "Law and Order" shows, among many others. This show follows a real case from the time the DA's office gets it, with them discussing strategy, to the courtroom testimony and sentencing. It's playing this week on MSNBC at 10pm this week, and I wish they'd bring it back.
-
Grizzly Adams I also really liked Northern Exposure, but I think it did start to go downhill towards the end, so it was cancelled at the right time probably
-
The West Wing. Great show, we never got to see who was going to be the next president.
-
"Freaks and Geeks", not sure if it was cancelled or not but I loved it. I also love "Reno 911". Im not sure what happened to that show either, anybody know?
-
Angel - One of my all time favourite programs. Threshold - Interesting and I think it would have improved. Surface - Fun program, I loved "Nim" and had a great final episode. Star Trek - OK, yes I am a bit of a trekkie and there is nothing new at the moment. Invasion - A bit stupid and boring in places, but still better than a lot of the crap on TV
-
The old original Star Trek.
-
Firefly (though I didn't watch it myself until it was out on DVD).
-
I loved "Frank's Place" that was on many years ago for only one season.
-
Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman.
-
Firefly. That was the best TV show ever... and never made it off the ground, really. Shame.
-
Grizzly Adams.
-
American Gothic.
-
Dark Angel (starring Jessica Alba) Fast Lane John Doe

I enjoyed a show that was very short lived. It was called "Hidden Hills". * Main Cast: Kristin Bauer, Justin Louis, Paula Marshall, Dondre Whitfield, Tamara Taylor * Release Year: 2002 * Country: US * Run Time: 30 minutes Plot Dismissed by one critic as "John Updike for dummies," the NBC dramedy Hidden Hills was set in the real-life gated suburban Los Angeles community of the same name. Essentially, the series wondered aloud if it was possible for married couples and/or parents to maintain the "traditional" family unit while being bombarded from all sides by the laissez-faire sensitivities of the 21st century. Among the recurring characters was Doug Barber (Justin Louis), whose efforts to be a worthwhile husband to spouse Janine (Paula Marshall) were compromised by the arrival of Hidden Hills' sexy new softball coach Belinda Slypich (Kristin Bauer), who ran her own X-rated website. On several occasions, Doug's sexual fantasies "came to life" for the benefit of the viewer, giving the hero ample opportunity to lust in his heart. Other stories concerned the trials and tribulations of the Barbers' "Buppie" neighbors, Zack and Sarah Timmerman (Dondre T. Whitfield, Tamara Taylor). Hidden Hills premiered September 24, 2002. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide Cast * Kristin Bauer - Belinda Slypich * Justin Louis - Doug Barber * Paula Marshall - Janine Barber * Dondre Whitfield - Zack Timmerman * Tamara Taylor - Sarah Timmerman Stacy Galina - Pam http://tinyurl.com/28wu54

It had to be The O.C.
-
The War at Home
-
Six Feet Under... that would be a finished HBO Series... not sure if it qualifies as "Canceled" or TV, so I'll have to go with The Kids in the Hall (of course) though it would have been Family Guy, but they brought that back.
-
Journeyman. It was a well-written blend of science fiction with quality drama.
-
Lovespring International. So funny!
-
torchwood
-
Well, Smallville was canceled here in Australia due to, *Gasp*, lack of interest, but its back on now. Does that count?
-
Deadwood and Lucky Louie
-
HR Puff and Stuff - very old UK children's programme.....
-
Last night at a dinner party I was discussing this topic! we had decided we miss the older sitcoms like Empty Nest, Too Close for Comfort, Gimmie A Break, Facts Of Life, etc.
-
Rome, and Deadwood. Both by HBO. Excellent shows shot down in their primes.
-
Knights of Prosperity, Cavemen, Human Weapon and Trading Spouses.
-
Drawn Together...yeah, that's the one. Cancelled because it was too expensive to produce and too X-rated for Comedy Central, even though it is one of the best shows that network has ever had. Hmm, oh well...

-
Top of the Form is another...
-
I'd vote for "Firefly" along with so many others. It was really clever - different - fun.
-
There are a few more, including Treasure Hunt, Brainchild, Screen Test, How Right Can You Be?, Pink Panther, Music Time, Television Club...
-
ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT! Waaaaahhhhh!! :(
-
Freaks And Geeks. It was only on for one season and was so funny.
-
There's also Doctor in the House, On the Buses, New Scotland Yard, New Faces, The Rag Trade, First Class, and at least another fifteen.
-
Arrested Development, Freaks and Geeks, and worst of all, Veronica Mars. It was the only show I would actually turn on the tv for.
-
Babylon 5. I could have watched so much more of it.
-
"My Two Dads" and "Full House".
-
The Riches with Eddie Izzard and Minnie Driver .. and it ended with a real cliff hanger, too.
-
Tru Calling. It was canceled in January, 2005. I loved it!!!
-
"Andy Richter Controls the Universe." It was great.
-
This awesome show called "SMITH" It only lasted for 6 episodes it was F* great!!
-
Freaks and Geeks. The amazing cast included James Franco and Seth Rogen. It had a crappy time slot and just didn't survive.
-
FIREFLY!!!!!!! when they made the movie serenity I was hoping it was so they could relaunch the series. then they killed Wash and that hope died.
-
Star Trek ... the original was cancelled early because they thought there were not enough watchers ... but the fans cried for more, and then came the movies and the sequels ... and in a few weeks yet another Star Trek movie will be released ...
-
Space: Above & Beyond had too short a run.
-
The original Star Trek should of had a longer run for sure.
-
Alias Smith and Jones back in the late 60s or early 70's..Peter Duel committed suicide after a few episodes. :/
-
Alias: Smith and Jones..late 60's. Actor Pete Duel committed suicide after a few episodes and it had great ratings. They tried another actor, but it was canceled after two shows i think.
