Sometimes. But it is not always easy. I have Aspergers and one of the things I have difficulties picking up on are subtle clues. Often I realize my mistake later and feel like an idiot though.

hmm, I am a guy. I am ADHD. I believe in being forward.... nope, on the extremely rare occurance I catch the hint.... I;ll ignore it making them speak their mind.

Half the time they go right over my head. I'd say for me it's 50/50 and it's because apparently half the time I just don't listen. At least that what my ex's say, although I disagree:)
