I'm wondering if it's the false sense of security that the company gives you by making you think that since it's been filtered it's safer. Not always the case.
-
I think it's mostly psychological. They've done taste tests where tap water ranks just as high if not higher than many bottled waters.
-
It doesn't. This feeling you get is due to being a sheep. Marketing works wonders. You are proof.
-
It's all psychological and in your head. It's all just h2o.
-
does it?? to me it tastes exactly the same, i cannot taste the difference
-
Part of it is that a lot of the impurities have been filtered out. Some tap water actually tastes better to me than bottled water. The water were I live now is very hard, heavy with minerals and over chlorinated most of the time. I would rather have bottled water. Where I used to live, I loved the taste of the tap water. It tasted clean and crisp and beat the hell out of any bottled water.
-
It's a mystery to me. It's mostly glorified tap water anyway. It must have something to do with the packaging. Like the neon lights that lure the weak minded in to casino's.
-
It doesn't. (Okay, except my tap water is crap but that is an exception to the rule.)
-
It really is not the case. The bottled water has undergone a process of purification and artificial addition of salts when required and it is your personal taste that matters. Having worked with a bottling company, I can surely say that I used to hate that stuff myself.
-
where I live waters water It tastes the same It hydrates me what more could I want?
-
Some bottled water is better than city water. Also, I know most cities have a water tax, but if you pay for something, you do think it's better:)
-
No. It is other way round. Natural spring water tastes better than purified bottled water.
-
To me it doesn't. They both taste the very same.
