People get so irate when celebrities give their political opinions. We give ours all the time..every American citizen has that right..we even get opinions from our friends in other countries. When a celebrity dares to give an opinion, why the uproar? Why?

I love the outrage in your tone in this question! Marvelous! People get outraged because celebrities have the ability to sway people's thought because someone likes a character they play or they think the actor or singer or what ever is attractive. They also dislike the fact that the opinion of celebrities is easily heard by the masses. I think that's a dumb theory because those easily swayed people could be swayed by anything, not just some celebrity. I agree whole heartedly with you, everyone has a right to an opinion, regardless of what it is or how they express it. -
To be honest, I don't get mad when celebrities give their opinion. But, your opinion and my opinion are just as important as their's. Overall, I get tired of seeing and hearing celebrities in general. We constantly see their pictures on magazines at check out counters and hear about them when we're flipping the TV.

Beats me. I agree with you. They have just as much right to express their opinions as we do. The fact that their opinion is held in such high standards is a reflection on society, not the celebrities themselves.
