We are (UK). We have the highest rate of binge drinking in Europe. I think there is something like three pubs to every person (joke) To my knowledge, The former republic of Macedonia is not very well know for drinking

Belgium is too full of chocolate to fit excessive alcohol as well surely?

Iceland has the lowest rate of alcoholism in Europe. It achieved this by restricting the sale of liquor and wine as to time and place--state stores only--and I could hardly believe this, but an Icelandic alcoholism counselor told me that until just a few years ago, beer was illegal!

This is kind of a baited question to get everyone to respond under the assumption that Europeans have an alcohol problem.
