My hair is dyed black. Is there anyway to put a couple white streaks in it without it turning brown/orange? Could a hair dresser do anything?

You can bleach it but the results will vary depending upon how pourous your hair is (i.e. have you done alot of coloring previous to this black dye job, the texture of your hair, etc.). If you started out with light colored hair, the chances of bleaching to white are good. Be prepared for it to be extremely dry though.

If it's not too fried, a hair dresser may be able put some lightener in. But I'd condition the hell out of it before and after.

Nope, black has to be eith grown out or gradually brought lighter with browns. if you try to put bleach/peroxide etc over black hair it will turn orange, and eventually snap off. You are better off doing it the long way and keeping healthy hair! there is nothing worse than unhealthy hair! no matter what colour it is!
