  • black sheer nylons. I'm sure you're gonna be gorgeous.
  • Sheer black nylons ... grrrr!
  • If the dress is knee length or below, go with the sheer ones, if it is above knee length, go with the opaque ones.
  • Now i am wearing a slightly above the knee straight fitted dress to a fall wedding that is under tone color of a rich dark brown with bronze-gold colored sparkle. weaing matalic gold-bronze colored high pointed heels. What type of hose to wear...sheer??? and what shade of hose... .. and my nails are short square shape...what color nail polish .... i usually wear just natural shades. thanks!
  • From a young males perspective, I would have to say that depending on your dress...is what you should choose to go with!!! Here is my reasoning for this answer...let us say for a moment that you have a SHINY, POLY-TYPE material dress...if you wear opaques with NO shimmer then you will have two NOTICEABLY different sheens on your upper and lower half...however if your dress is that SAME material as listed above and you have nylons with shimmer and a patent leather type of shoe...the eye will take in the whole outfit versus pieces of it!! Same goes for if your dress has no sheen or shimmer, than you can go with an opaque that also has no sheen or shimmer....and the shoes at that point can still be patent leather and be a great focal point!!GREAT QUESTION!!
  • I think opaques look better. I am only in my twenties, and I feel that a) sheer black looks extremely old-fashioned, and b) sherr black shows every flaw in your legs and she shape of your legs, around the knees for example. I always go for opaque, I think they look great and far more classy.
  • One thing is for sure, whatever you choose, you will look so much more classy than those ladies who think that bare-legged is best... Have you given any thought as to the brand you will wear??
  • Hay what can I say..... sheer black and sexy!! (wink)
