  • The United Nations Convention on Psychotropic Substances declares LSD as illegal in the United States and most of Europe. There is no exception for religious use, unlike with alcohol prohibition. The fact that the UN have made it illigal makes it pretty much illigal everywhere.
  • Softcore drugs are basically legal in the Netherlands, since the government believes there's a difference between softcore drugs and hardcore drugs (cocaine, crack, meth, heroine, etc). Since LSD is a softcore drug (not to say it doesn't get intense), it is essentially legal in the Netherlands (same with marijuana. It's not legal, but it's basically legal)

  • Netherlands (of course) and there's many places in the world where's there's no legislation dealing with it at all, making it effectively legal.
