There is a mistake that I keep making with documentary films; I keep expecting them to tell the complete history of whatever subject it is that they are covering (much like something on The History Channel) 'The Bridge', like so many other documentary films, only focused on a few people, the surviving friends and family members of that year's suicide jumpers... rather than the history of the Golden Gate Bridge being the country's premiere suicide location. It's not a film to watch after having a bad week. The movie was emotional, awkward at times as you watched people pacing around, as well as jump. The only reservation I have about reccomending this this movie is that you can't look at the Golden Gate Bridge without thinking of the jumpers. Having been to San Francisco twice, it's kind of a bummer that the icon has been tarished for me. I can only hope that those feeling will go away, however many years it takes.
