In that case, some major shopping chains in the UK are perverts. It is fairly standard British terminology. Of course, some people believe all Brits are perverts. I think they overestimate slightly.
-
Not true at all. I often refer to undies and panties.
-
That's not true. Panties is a very common word for underwear. If you say it lecherously and whilst drooling and licking your lips, then you're probably a pervert.
-
im a guy and i hate the word panties..sounds weird to me for some reason .i never use the term.
-
No, This could have something to do with social class, different stanards, ya know?
-
I think the person that told you that was the pervert. One time I was in Victoria's Secret and I was exclaiming "Look at all the knickers!" and my husband told me to shut up because there were a bunch of black girls in the store and they might misunderstand what I was saying. It was pretty innocent, yet hysterical.
-
Well by that logic, my mother, sister, and grandmother are all perverts. So no, it's not true.
-
no just the word panties sounds sexy, think of it a women would rather here you say take off our panites than to say take off your underware.
-
Undies, drawers, panties, briefs, knickers who cares.
-
The International Brotherhood of Pantie Fetishists does not require such, no.
-
No. What do all the perverts have a secret society where they use certain vocabulary? No. That's wrong.
-
I work at Kohls and the official term for where women's and girls underwear is kept on sale is the "panty bin". Also, on the tags of the underwear and the signs that show the prices of the underwear they're called panties. Panties is an official/professional term and is no different than "boxers" for men's underwear.
-
I just think the word panties has a kind of childish sound. Like mommy vs mom or daddy vs dad. Maybe that is why someone told you perverts call it panties vs underwear. I don't think they have a special code but I'm not a perv so I wouldn't know.
-
Well.... no... But still, I find the use of that word creepy. Have done ever since a pervert started stalking my mother via telephone and talking about sniffing panties. For some reason, I can't take that word seriously.
-
I always considered the word 'panty' or 'panties' to be the feminine version of the word 'underwear'. Rarely do you hear it used in a masculine sense. So, I'd have to say no, it's not true.
